You will build the first content and demand engine at Bauplan working together with the founders and the Head of GTM.
Your mission is to turn Bauplan's technical depth into content our commercial audience actually consumes, and to turn that content into qualified top of funnel inside the accounts we want to win.
You will own the editorial output, the channels that carry it, and the account-based programs that put it in front of the right people.
This role is hands on. You personally write, edit, produce and ship, and you are ready to own the whole program while learning from a more experienced GTM leader.
TBD
San Francisco or New York, in office three days a week.
Data infrastructure was built for humans: a few people making careful changes through consoles, at human speed and human volume. Agents break every one of those assumptions. They work in parallel, never sleep, run a thousand times more compute, and fail constantly, because failing repeatedly is how they arrive at a right answer. Nothing in today's stack survives that.
Bauplan is rebuilding it from the bottom: a transactional layer that gives data branches, merges and instant rollback, and a proprietary processing engine for analytical workloads designed to handle agentic workflows an order of magnitude faster and more efficiently.
Our customers already open a data branch every four seconds. We are backed by Index Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, South Park Commons and Evantic, and by the people who built the modern data stack: Wes McKinney and Chang She, creators of Pandas and Arrow, Spencer Kimball of CockroachDB, Erik Bernhardsson of Modal, Aditya Parameswaran of Berkeley, Chris Ré of Stanford, Ihab Ilyas of Waterloo, and Severin Hacker of Duolingo. Behind our own team sit 70 papers, 100 million downloads and 10,000 GitHub stars.
The data stack gets rewritten about once a decade. This is that decade.
